Phew!! At the last minute I've gotten a guy I work with to agree to swap with me, so I can come tomorrow night!!! Yippee!! (He didn't want to, as he was playing golf with his dad the next day, but I 'pretty please'd him and was about to offer money when he relented.)
Had a lovely night last night. Met up with an old pal from my musical days, who I found on Facebook late last year. Andrew played one of my sailor boys when I was Bonny in "Anything Goes" at Rockdale Musical Society, and we used to go see musicals together. He hadn't come out then, but I always knew he was gay. 13 years on he's still in showbusiness and produces shows not only here but in the UK and Dubai - and has a lovely boyfriend. We got on like it was just yesterday - I love that!!
It was at the Coopers, and it was nice to see Leon and Nicole, and an ex-millinery buddy Laura there.
Off to see the Special Beat tonight :)
