We like the mundane
Weekends go something like this these days:
- Wake up around 9 plus, clean up a little, laze around a teeny bit, then head out of the house for the pocket-burning routine. There's always something to buy for the house that seemed absolutely necessary! The reserves are getting seriously depleted!
- Get home after a full day out shopping and the evening will be spent unpacking our purchases and assembling whatever needs assembly...
- Then i'll cook a simple dinner under the watchful eyes of Health Inspector Kays to make sure the kitchen stays grime-free @#$%^&
- We'll be so tired at the end of everything we'll always fall asleep on the sofa...
- On sundays the part-time domestic help will come so we hang around to supervise and take the opportunity to get some work done...
Yup, it's sounds mighty boring, but somehow because it's your own home, it's actually quite enjoyable and we don't mind settling into this kinda routine i suppose...
There hasn't been any partying or late nights out for us, except maybe the occasional dinner or mj with friends. Instead, adventures we have nowadays include the occasional extermination of hungry ants or rearrangment of all the cables in the TV console so they'd look neater
Ah Mak is officially boring!
Next up is really working on the wedding itself. With me travelling and having conferences in September, I can practically do zilch in terms of preparations... And now i'm getting worried because i'll be going into the photoshoot all jetlagged and drained! Guess Photoshop/ Air-brushing will have to be my best friends... PLUS there's still the HK dinner to think about!
