Happy Birthday meanmif!!!
aniles & I brought meanmif for a manicure yesterday @ Potion in Paragon for her manicure treat while we had ours done too. We originally intended for her to have a pedicure done as well, all as a surprise but she surprised us instead by wearing covered shoes (we were 90% sure that she'd turn up in slip-ons)... doh! Still it was fun yakking away while getting your nails done : )
Proceeded to dinner @ Que Pasa afterwards and we had a nice corner upstairs all to ourselves!~ Caught up and laughed throughout the night over wine & tapas but the weird super-buaya waiter from Ipoh (called Kenny) sort of freaked us out. Oh well he did give us free tiramisu & 3 more glasses of wine on the house though heh...
Really wish koochi was back and with us too, but nevermind there'll be next times... heh... And we're gonna check out Balcony together!
I skipped my jap class again... Was starting to feel quite ill with the onset of a sore throat and decided that it's best i rested instead since i'm starting work on monday and i'd have to be there no matter what. MCs during the first week/month - minus points... Plus there's apparently some important meeting for the marketing folks over tue-thurs so i can't miss that... : (
Kays & I still manage to be quite productive though, visiting another bank & successfully negotiated the wine corkage waiver from the hotel... woohoo!
Meeting more interior designers today and hopefully we'll see something we like and within our budget.....
