Pavement rolls and evaporates under night, thick and crisp with promise. Her eyes find the mirror and watch the past disappear with each turn of the wheel. She sighs, the cool air that whips gently on her face is a constant reminder of the beauty in simplicity. | Her eyes are vain but her heart is pure. | The dark grey ground sinks below summer grass and tiny zips of neon insects leave marks in the air for frozen and lovely moments. Again, she sighs. He touches her face. She's silent, but the caress awakens her just a little more every time. The surface is aplomb, God forbid she moves these times that stand so perfectly stagnant with her awkward glance, clumsy movements, or totally unsuitable words. However, she is aware of the piercing, enveloping stare that suggests those glances, movements, and words are underrated. She blinks. Her feet find themselves slowly curling under, adjusting to the movements of the car. The street lamps become few and far between and the ground begins to fold up into hills that catch the blue light and illuminate a brand new world from an old vision. "This will stay forever," her mind echoes. She did not doubt herself, this beauty is not fleeting and unnatural. This moment is frozen. He turned again. Another red-light. His hand beckons her to move in closer. Quickly, quickly -- green does not wait. Her punctual head leans and presses against his. The light changes. A giggle, that doesn't want to belong to her, escapes. The road is turning faster now, and trees become a blurry black silhouette against the sky. The passenger in the passenger seat, the girl turns her face to the window again, searching for the moon. It's bright sphere greets her, radiating beams of silver graciousness unto her face. She strains to remember when things were so quell. A thousand thoughts are muted by the roar of her heartbeat. Her face is touched again. She smiles with a modesty quite unusual for her loud and obnoxious manner. The car stops. The intensely quiet mood seems to cover and fill every void that the two had felt, the silence except for breathing swarming over their entwined bodies. The girl looked with glass eyes at her hand, perched gracefully, wound around his shoulder. It stemmed from a pale and thin |in this angle| wrist and almost had an elegant quality to it. "In this night, nothing is flaw." Her heart beat, thudding with every breath. The moon peeked from behind illuminated grey clouds, rimmed in chrome, shining down on the two and casting them in an aura of awe and romanticism. "These are the moments we know belong to us alone." He turned his head, streams of pale blue lighting sections of his face. "You've made my world so much better," he whispered. She laid her head gently down on the curve of his arm. | You've made mine alive. | And their hearts were coated.
