It's been a month you say? Oh my how the time flys by.
It was 50 odd degress today in houghton. Most of the snow is melting away. Could be hard to have snow football this weekend with no snow. Oh wells.
I got elected Programming Dirrector for WMTU a couple weeks ago. I get to write the DJ schedule now, so I totally can have not shitty time slots. It should be cool. I'm in charge of all of the Music Dirrectors, which mean I just make sure that they are listening to new music, and putting it in the new bin for others to listen to. There really isn't that much to the job, but I hope I do a good job at doing it. We will see. I'm in charge of plannign the CMJ Music Marathon trip too, so hopefully I can go to that. It should be HELLA sweet ( http://www.cmj.com/marathon/ ) Being in New York over Halloween would be crazy cool.
This weekend we had The Big Bad Voodoo Daddies up at Tech. They were pretty good, but the lady infront of me was pissing me off. Who'da'thunk that people would SWING DANCE at a SWING CONCERT. Apparently she didn't expect that. Jerk. Also, Cranberry Juice and Bicardi O is pretty good when chilled.
The previous weekend contained St. Patricks Day and the Heiruspecs show. I really enjoy live hip hop. Especially when the people in the groups are cool at the afterparty.
It's going to be a pretty busy week, and I'm already tired. This is a bad sign. Such is life.
