i took these pictures way back about a month ago on a walk in grand rapids with will. i wish i went out and took photographs more often.
well, quite obviously, here's the city...or...part of it. will took this one.
we stopped at a playground and had some fun. the whole alphabet was displayed in sign language on one portion of the jungle gym. will took this one too.
i like bricks as roads/driveways/paths. i took this picture.

this is the van andel institute for cancer research. will, always marveling at design, took pictures of this building. i like that you can see the stairs inside.
more crazy design architecture stuff on the same building. you can see the stairs in it too.
we went inside and they told us we had to leave because it's a private building. we obliged, but not before will asked permission to take a picture of the chihuly sculpture that was hanging above the welcome desk. yes, they granted us permission, but i think they were confused as to why we would want a picture of a large glass double-helix. because it's chihuly, man, get cultured.
someone wrote this on a dumpster; i don't know why. but i took a picture of it because it's part of what i see and it's out of the ordinary.
