still lovin it
it's been forever since i've been at this website. i've been busy all the time. i'm really amazed at how busy i am.
i'm still staying with lauren and her family and they've been very hospitable. natalie just joined me and we are still looking for a place to live, however, but lauren's family insists that there is no rush and that we can take our time. it's nice to be so welcome.
right now i'm waiting for natalie to get back from work and then we are going to go out on the town so she can get more familiar with GR. i'm happy to show her around. i love this place.
i also love my job. all my other jobs have been jobs that i dread going to. but not this one. the other day i got called in at the last minute and i was happy to go in, whereas other jobs i would have flat-out turned down the offer. perhaps it's because it's new and fresh and something i've never done before. but i don't think so. i really like it. and i've talked to other people i work with who say that there is rarely a day when they aren't happy to come to work. and that's from people who have been there many years. i thought the other day about the possibility of me having this job for many years to come and it almost blew my mind. all my other jobs have been seasonal and they are always due to end at a certain time of the year because summer ends or school is over. this is something different. and i like it.
