Bart
I've found a horse to ride in Stockholm! His name is Bart and he's a 12 years old friesian gelding. I'm going to ride him twice a week. I'm really looking forward to get to know him. His owner seems very nice as well so that's great. I think it's almost as important that you get along with the horse's owner as with the horse. She thought I rode Bart really well. She told me he was not an easy horse to ride and even trainers had problems the first time they rode him, but that he looked really good when I was riding him. She had some other people that was also interested in riding him, but after I'd been riding around for a while she called me over and said that if I wanted to continue to ride Bart she would call the others and tell them she wasn’t interested. That was great to hear, my confidence really needed that!
I'll try to get a picture of him next time I'm at the barn. He's such a pretty boy!
I'm happy that I have a horse to ride, but I miss Alma. The ground still feels unsteady underneath my feet when I think of her.
