Ah, spam!updating, how I have missed thee.
Okay, so I've been reading uberlots of posts about Brendon and his whole controversy (DON'T MAKE ME LINK YOU, I'LL HAVE TO READ THEM ALL AGAIN AND IT'S MAKING MY BRAIN HURT). I mostly agree with all sides, because that's how I roll, and it's not as if there's any real ultimate right way to see a sticky moral situation. But what's extra interesting to me isn't so much whether it's true or not as how fandom has reacted.
I may be perceiving this wrong, and have only read a certain selection of responses, but is there a reason that a Brendon Urie who's an asshole in bed can't also be the same Brendon Urie who asked people to throw marshmallows instead of bottles at him on stage? Is there some law that says that a person's faults and shortcomings and issues negate their cute and fluffy and happy sides? I mean, it's not like there aren't other personalities in the fandom that embrace a lot of seeming dichotomies (see Pete and his poetry right alongside his willingness to drink urine), so, y'know. Sure, I'm not going to run away screaming if I see fic that's addressing this new Brendon information, but I also don't want to see Brendon Urie the bunny lover disappear in the annals of time.
(Seriously, how did no one tell me that he's possibly a vegetarian? I'm so highly biased towards veggies, I almost don't care if it's factual canon. If I ever do fic Brendon, he's going to be suuuuuch a vegetarian and I'm going to have so much fun with it, eeeeee. <3)

So, who reading this has a del.icio.us account? If you're bored or just feel like talking, I would love to hear about how and why you decided to tag things certain ways. I'm trying to figure out what criteria I want to tag things based on (incorporating the knowledge that in some nebulous future we'll be getting a new del.icio.us, God, I want) and it's giving me a headache. I'm trying to narrow it down to 5-8 tagging categories (categories meaning "fic fandom character/character" etc. tags) if that's at all possible (instead of the 12 or however many million I was using before at my reccing account) and perusing other people's systems seems to help.
Or you can just direct me towards it and let me poke around:

So you can make requests if you'd like. :D (For fic/icons/whatnot, or, I don't know, have me make a voice post where I bark like a dog, whatever you want. Come to think of it, that could be fun, anyway.)
