I’m sleep deprived, so have a numbered list!
1. Maya is Mohinder’s apron is hot. MAYA/MOHINDER, PEOPLE, HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN SAYING THIS.
1b. Maya not being dead is even hotter. I was really glad I was accidentally spoiled for her coming back, otherwise I would have been severely sad/angry for that commercial break.
1c. Maya being pissed off at Sylar is additionally hot and refreshing.
1d. Maya/Mohinder/Sylar is so fucking canon.
1e. Maya/Mohinder are having hot sexual “let’s celebrate my aliveness” sex right now (a fine tradition started with Noah) and speaking dirty, dirty Spanish to each other, and *God*, did I mention hot?
2. MATT/NATHAN FLIGHT OF GAY = FTW.
2b. HIRO/NATHAN REUNION OF GAY = \o/.
2c. Hiro speaking Japanese to Adam (but *clearly* thinking of him as Kensei) = OMGWTF WEIRDLY HOT.
3. Adam/Peter = Dude. So married.
3b. Nathan saying "Peter, I love you" to turn him on Adam, awww, those Petrellis.
3c. Awww, hugging.
3d. Nathan wanting to come forward = awesome.
4. Niki’s whole storyline breaks my logic centers. Just. WHAT?
4b. Niki kicking ass breaks my threshold of hot. God, could we have had this many, many episodes ago, and frequently?
4c. Monica/Niki Y/Y? Hot post-fire celebrating aliveness sex? (Running theme, people, running theme.)
4d. DAMNIT WHY THE FUCK IS SHE DEAD? WHY DO SHE AND D.L. GET SHAFTED LIKE THIS?

5. Everything Mohinder/Sylar. *Everything*. It made *me* want to write them, and I never have that urge.
5b. Mohinder freaking *stabbed* him. Why? Why did I enjoy that so much? Jesus.
5c. TRUST ISSUES BWAHAHAHA.

6c. Even Noah fell more than a little flat for me this episode (except for the ball bouncing, which was hilarious). Like, giving Sandra a mere handbrush goodbye? What? Fail. Faaaaaaail.
My unpopular fannish opinions, let me show you them:
7. I don’t think I would be permanently scarred by Nathan not coming back. Yes, I can hear you hissing from here. I would be *sad*, but I would recover.
7b. This is totally because of fandom. I have no desire to explain how.
7c. Part of me so wishes it would be Niki that would come back. There’s no way in hell it’s going to be her. There are so many ways this disappoints me. (But if she does, I will eat my shoe.)
8. Hiro. O_O We are seeing the beginning of future!Hiro, here?
9. Angela. O_O We’ve always known about you. But *shit*.
10. *sigh* Please, please, can we be done with Sylar’s villain arc *someday*? Please?
11. I’ll have to re-watch this season once things have settled down a bit. It couldn’t really have been as bad as it seemed towards the end, could it?
