Can an eye be described as “slitted” (e.g. a snake’s eye)? Context: “when he looks into the slitted eye.” Or is it slatted? That’s what Word is suggesting to me, but, um… slat is a totally different word. (Though, oddly, kind of works.)

Anyway, “slit eye” doesn’t sound right to me, kind of implies an image that isn’t accurate to what I’m describing. I’m going more for the iris/cornea area than the shape of the eye itself.

*blinks* *is bad at tenses and participles and suchlike, sometimes*

And, why, yes, I am writing fic for those prompts right now. However did you guess? *beams*

I also find it funny that I’ve begun to use the word “coda” to describe some of my fic in the summary, but am only about 40% sure of what it means (even though fyredancer totally explained it to me!). LOSE.

P.S. Why the hell isn’t curious listed as a potential mood? It’s only the mood I’m in for over half of the posts I make. :p

Edited to add: Wow, I’m a genius. Curious is totally a potential mood. FAIL.
