4 aksjf You probably didn't need four; I just think she's really pretty okay (Though her hair really isn't pink...it's more of a golden brown color.)
PERSONALITY: For the most part, what you see is what you get with Reira. There isn't much that she chooses to hide from those who are close to her. She speaks her mind, and you'll always know whether she is sad, or happy, or angry, etc. Reading her isn't hard at all, and her strong emotions are the source of both her strengths and weaknesses.
For someone who is supposed to be an adult, Reira is fairly immature. At least part of it is in her nature; another part comes from growing up very much sheltered and spoiled by both family and friends. She can be whiny at times, throw temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way, and make silly faces behind someone's back. Reira can also be very selfish - if she wants something, she doesn't stop to think about the consequences, or how it will affect other people. Professing her love to Takumi when he was married is one example. Paying an underage boy for sex is another, more serious example.
Though Reira often appears confident, beneath the surface she is deeply insecure. She states more than once that the only thing she is good for is singing, and that if she doesn't (or can't) sing, she is worthless. Despite spending much of her time with her band mates, Reira is also very lonely. This is partly due to being in Trapnest and spending most of her time either recording or on the road.
Childish behavior aside, Reira is a good person. She is naturally cheerful and enjoys making people happy. Reira is very much in tune with her emotions, and isn't afraid to make herself vulnerable in order to express herself, or connect with others. It is through her job as an entertainer that she is best able to convey her emotions: she pours her heart and soul into singing and song writing.
COMPUTER APTITUDE: Reira has a pretty good grasp of computer skills. She mainly uses it for email, downloading music, song writing, and keeping track of her student's progress. No hacking or overly complicated things for her, though.
AU HISTORY: Reira was born in the United States as Layla Serizawa (she would later go by Reira, in order to disguise the fact that she is only half-Japanese from her fans). Her father named her after Eric Clapton's famous song "Layla". When she was only six years old her father died, and her mother chose to move to Japan.
In Japan Reira was often teased for her poor grasp of the Japanese language. It is during this time that she is introduced to Takumi Ichinose, a young neighborhood boy. The two become very close: Takumi stood up for her whenever anyone tried to bully her, and Reira would sing for him. Reira would teach Takumi English, and Takumi would help Reira with her Japanese.
Their tight friendship lasts until their early teenage years. When Reira reveals that she would like to be Takumi's girlfriend in middle school, Takumi is quick to dismiss it, saying he already has one. Her feelings hurt, Reira runs from the room.
We later see them in high school. By then Reira had befriended both Naoki Fujieda (who would later become the drummer for Trapnest) and Yasushi Takagi, who was then in a band with Ren Honjou (who would later become the guitarist for Trapnest). Reira dates Yasu for a brief period of time.
It is Takumi who becomes inspired to create the band Trapnest with himself as leader. He loved hearing and watching Reira sing, and decides to build the band around her voice. In the band's year or two they go through several members, mainly due to Takumi's rather violent temper.
In the end it is Reira on vocals, Takumi on bass, Ren on guitar and Naoki on drums that get signed to Cookie Music. With the release of their first CD the band quickly shoots to number one on the charts. Takumi drives them all hard, and though Reira is happily caught up in being a rock star, her feelings for Takumi are still there.
Is is shortly after the release of their second album, Trigger, that Reira confesses to Takumi once more. This time things take an ugly turn: Takumi rejects her once more, and Reira's heart breaks worse than last time. Though they try to carry on with the tour, things remain tense between them, and they both reluctantly agree that they cannot work under the circumstances. Trapnest goes on an official hiatus.
Shortly after the announcement Reira treats herself to a vacation in France. She realizes that she needs to pick herself up and carry on, because things may never go back to normal between her and Takumi: though she still continues to harbor feelings for him, she knows she can't waste her life waiting.
One morning she comes across an ad for Reims Academy in the newspaper, and choir teacher is among one of the many faculty openings. Sensing a chance to do something different, she calls to find out more information. The next week she actually has a relatively normal job.
The position is perfect for Reira: it is far enough away from Japan that not everyone will recognize her as famous, and since it's a private academy the students shouldn't be too much trouble...right?

INTRANET/1ST PERSON SAMPLE:
ATTENTION: Everyone in choir!
Just two quick reminders!
First, you should all have your song requests for the spring concert ready tomorrow. ♥ Remember: if you don't bother to suggest something, I don't want to hear anyone complaining! (Not even if we all end up singing stuffy old musical numbers!)
Second, auditions for a solo will be held on Friday. If you would like to schedule a practice session and haven't done so yet, you have until 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The sign up sheet is still on our bulletin board.
I really want our first performance together to be awesome, so let's all keep up the hard work!
- Miss Serizawa
