There are still many things in life that I don't understand, and never will. Like how a store can claim it's discounting items but simply increase their prices to fool its customer. But the biggest thing that boggles my mind is apathy. I personally admit that I occasionally suffer from a mild case of the "fuck its," however, to walk life without a care in the world can be disheartening. To not care, to not have compassion, to not have priorities, to disregard those who DO care; it's fucked up.
It's even worse when you try to make someone care about anything, and they don't care about you trying to make them care. (If it sounds jumbled and a failure waiting to happen, it is.)
This is a good one: "If you want to say, or do, or see someone do it." But they don't expect you to do so. **Golden rule #1** If an apathetic person says you should do something they don't really mean it. The apathetic person doesn't care for their personal existance or your existance either.
They should buy a slogan for this and air it on TV right after those anti-smoking ads: "Apathy kills! Stay in school! You may think it's cool, it might be, but it will mess with the integrity of others!"
I'm sure someone wrote a song about it before. Crushes are more promising than relationships -- it's true.
