The Big Trade-Off

Apr 10, 2012 05:41

Ok, so this is something I've been working on for the last couple of days. It's half past five in the morning and I'm dead tired so I'm going to keep it short: It's an LJ community for trading downloads, doing challenges, contests, events etc. So check it out if you're interested ^__^

A) I, personally, don't consider myself to have a "friend-circle". I don't even know that many people, to be honest. My "friends" or people whom I talk to aren't all creators or legacy-makers. Most of them are people who have been in the #GOS chatforum at the same time as myself and/or who have contacted me either here or over at Tumblr and for one reason or another we started a conversation. So I wouldn't say there's a certain group of people in a friends"circle". It's expandable and more or less without limits (and if it does have limits they're fram form clear and/or restricted - more fuzzy-like).
B) I mostly make posts linking to the creations I've posted over at tumblr from time to time, + I use tags. I can only speak for myself in this matter, but I'm sure there are others who do the same.
C) I don't understand how The Big Trade Off can be a slap in the face for anyone? All creations are shared when they're done (and not months and months afterwards, but directly) so anyone can pick them up if they'd like to. And anyone could become a member, so anyone can participate. I personally think that most of the people who havn't gotten any replies to their posts (if that might be what you meant) that's because people are unsure of what their games look like and therefore don't feel that they could make something to fit their game (it's very hard to make something for someone if you have no idea what their game looks like).

I'm sorry that you feel this way, but I hope what I wrote above covers atleast some of it >:
