Downloads over at Tumblr

Jan 21, 2012 18:05

I can't remember wheather or not I've already written something about the downloads I've put up over at Tumblr, but if I already have I guess there's no harm in doing it a second time. I have a few hair re-textures, makeup and skins up there :3

I love that Soledad hair, but there doesn't seem to be an elder age group for either hairs? Is that just how the original mesh was?

I noticed it a while after having uploaded the hair. The easiest way to add an elder-stage is to edit the file in SimPE (preferably before making any recolors, so you wont have to do it for every package afterwards). You just go into property set, delete the line in the resource tree that is for elders (it normaly has "grey" in the name, but you can easy check it in property view and see so that the line "age (dtUInteger)" says "0x00000010). Now look up the line that in property view says "0x00000008" in the "age (dtUInteger)"-line and change it to 0x00000018. Commit and save. 8 stands for adults, 10 for elders, 40 for young adults, 4 for teens, 2 for kids and 1 for toddlers. I hope that makes sense and sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused ):

I've been wondering how to do that for a while but couldn't find any sort of tutorial. Thank you, it'll really come in handy!
