Author's Note:  Ficlet written for Leverageland's hiest #6 "Hardison" prompt.  So, yeah, how cool would an Eliot signal be?  Enjoy!

Hardison desperately wanted to keep the batcave but Nate said that was not happening. By the way, he still couldn't believe they'd gotten a batcave, even if they didn't get to keep it. An actual freaking batcave, how cool was that! He would do some serious squeeing and fanboying when the rest of the team was not watching.

While they were still at the dam after taking out Dubenich and Latimer, he had blurted out his idea that Eliot needed his own Batman signal. Eliot had asked him a ton of questions about it, pretending that the idea didn't excite him as much as it really did.

They all piled into the van, Nate driving and Sophie calling shotgun, leaving Hardison, Eliot, and Parker to ride in the back. Parker laid down for a quick cat nap and Hardison immediately pulled up one of the chairs in from of his computers, while Eliot sat in the other chair ignoring both of them, his mind on the events that had transpired over the last couple of days.

As soon as they were in the van and on their way home, Hardison got to work. He typed in a few simple image searches, downloaded the photos he wanted, then used one of his photo editing programs to merge them into a masterpiece if he did say so himself. Twenty minutes later he was done. Eliot would not be happy if he knew that Hardison had hacked his phone, but it wasn't like he was ever going to have to find out that little detail.

“Hey, man, check your phone.” Hardison swung around to face Eliot and saw that he had barely moved, and was still staring though Lucille's wall with a faraway look in his eye.

Eliot looked up. “What?”

“I said, check you phone.”

Looking unsure about what he would find, Eliot hesitantly pulled his phone out of his pocket. A photo of a black, cloudy sky with a search light beaming a silhouette of a wolf with a knife between its teeth flashed on the screen. He grinned like a little kid at Christmas, in spite of himself.

“That's really cool, man. How'd you-?"

“Age of the geek, baby.”

“Ooh, can I see?” Parker appeared out of nowhere and snatched the phone out of Eliot's hand without waiting for an answer.

He growled at her. “Damn it, Parker...”

“This is so cool! Does this mean you're like Batman?”

“Yeah, kinda, I guess.” A hint of a smile crossed Eliot's face as he pictured himself as Batman.

As much as he bitched and moaned, Eliot loved Hardison like an annoying little brother who - whether or not Eliot would ever admit the fact was another story - could do some pretty cool stuff.

“Hey, Hardison,” Parker was saying, “could I have one, too? Like a thief signal with something really cool... like jewels. Or money! You could put money...”

Eliot smiled. They were still coming down from taking out the two men that had made their lives harder the last few months but he had a feeling that it was going to be a soft landing this time. No matter what they decided to do next, they were still a team.
