Drabble, Drabble, Babble
Title: Morning

Drabble: 58 - Morning
Character: Sora Takenouchi

The curtains are closed, leaving no room for sunlight. She's been staring at the closed window for hours, wondering what it takes to open it, and whether she's up to it. She's thinking that if she opens the window, the sunlight would probably burst through and momentarily blind her eyes.
Then she'd blink, draw back the rest of the curtains and prepare for her morning. She'll get dressed in a hurry, stumble down the stairs to eat a peice of burnt toast and kiss her mother on the cheek, then dash to school, while on the way probably running into her musician and her soccer player. The rest of the day will fly by, because it's the morning that always lasts the longest.
She's pushing the curtains back, back, farther apart, they aren't touching anymore, and she's looking out the window.
To see that it's raining quite thoroughly, but quietly. Like a light drizzle.
"Oh that's right." Sora's smiling sleepily. "It's a weekend." On Sunday morning rains she'll pause very quickly, then fumble her way through her bedroom-
So she can go back to her bed.
"And sleep," her whispers are pressed into the pillowcase, before they disappear forever when she starts dreaming.
I was in a rainy-day mode myself, and listening to The Fray. Those two are very 'sleepy and rainy' combinations and gave me the mood I wanted for this drabble.
