Goodbye beloved cat!

My beloved cat Mitzio died today, we had to put him to sleep because he was in pain and there was no cure for him. The past few days were a nightmare. His dead body is lying next to me now. We bury him later. I cannot express how much it hurts. He was 16 years old and I cannot remember a time in my life without him. I would do anything to have one more summer with him. He loved to be in the sun and in our garden. When he was younger he was the cat king of our neighbourhood. He loved stroking and cuddling, I wish I had done it more often in the past few months. I'm sorry, Mitzio, I couldn't help you! I love you! I don't want to put you in a dark and cold grave but I have no choice. We will always remember you, you beautiful and smart cat! Our family, our house and all our friends will miss you! I love you!
