Some sad venue news
Unfortunately, our venue has fallen through :/ We're back to square one.
Now, there is a possible alternative venue. The downside is that said venue is in Ballarat. And really, that's one of only two downsides about it. It's otherwise a fantastic place (trust me, I've been there a few times and I love it!).
For people without cars or not wanting to take cars, I can arrange a 12 person bus (or more, if necessary) and a driver to get us there. Which is great and all but it's still a two hour-ish bus ride to get there.
The other downside of course is that there's only two beds, so sleeping arrangements would be a bit complex at best. I might be able to arrange a good deal with a nearby motel, or of course we could probably find a way to make what's available at the venue itself work somehow.
So. It's a great place with only two downsides, but those downsides are pretty impressive in size. What are people's thoughts on this?
