Oh, wow. I really loved this. It's so true to character, to Desmond's way of approaching things and to the... rather passionate person, shall we say, who seems to be lurking under that ultra-reserved exterior of his. With Des and Penny in particular there's that particularly difficult balancing act of all the emotions and complications and history tangled up with their relationship, and then just what happens when... okay, I'm going to stop myself here out of propriety. Suffice to say that this is hot, sweet, and wonderful, and I adore it.
