The Symposium will focus on the systemic causes of poverty and be a call to action, featuring presentations by Nicole Witherbee of Maine Center for Economic Policy and Maura Daly, VP of Government Relations and Advocacy at Feeding America.
The Symposium will also feature the first public airing of "Maine Voices" - a project that presents real people in real settings talking about poverty in Maine. The afternoon breakout sessions will address Energy, Health Care, Affordable Housing
and Hunger.
Join us as we develop strategies and policy recommendations to provide economic security for all Maine people.
