Hello Scott and Thomas.I just want to say that you are both brave, exceptional, spirited parents who come across and being perfectly well suited and deeply in love. I think the way that you have adopted your two older Sons after the death of their Mother is so admirable and should be a sure sign to any prejudiced and petty minded detractors that you are the perfect men for the job of parents to those two small boys. I'm not so sure about America but here in England, adoption is a rigorous and daunting procedure that easily rejects any applicants that the authorities deem unsuitable. If the authorities are happy to charge you with the adoption of two young boys then how can anyone doubt your ability, morally or practically? If you were unfit for the purposes of parenting then you'd have been rejected from the formal adoption process. Anyone who disagrees with that is clearly prejudiced. In my mind, two paternal, happily married, educated, parents is the perfect formula for happy family life. It's far better than what I had. I have been ( ... )
