Trans Friendly Endos or General Practioners in AKRON
Hey everyone,
I am looking for an endo in the AKRON area. I am currently seeing the wonderful, trans-friendly, hormone wizard Dr. Murphy in Cleveland (MetroHealth) but am looking for someone closer to home. The Endocrinology department at Akron General said their doctor "didn't treat that" when I called yesterday so I'm looking for some leads.
I don't have insurance (part of the reason why Dr. M was such a godsend- MetroHealth is good about helping those of us who are without insurance or are under-insured) but the money I save in gas and time off work can help me pay for visits to a new doc. I already have my referral from Dr. Murphy too if I can find someone in this area.
HELP, HELP, HELP! Any fingers pointed in the right direction would be awesome.
