I'm not sure what the logic was of restarting Vertigo with a series of strips way more complicated than anything I'd tried before. Then again, this might be the most consistent I've been about writing anything all year.

I love the coloring. And the mecha-robot-things, they're oddly adorable. (And I especially like that they're not, you know, all fancy and individualized and rippling with weird robot muscle or whatever. Practical looking! Yes.)

Also, I am really curious why they are in this mess. Last I remember they were visiting home...? I think? CURSE THE LACK OF OLD STRIPS SO I CAN CHECK ON THIS.
