Greetings, friends. This is transnoctem at 101.53, Just Another Frequency. Apologies for the long silence, off-base errands called. Tell you what, I'll be broadcasting at a more frequent rate tonight to make it up to you. Sound good? I can hear you cheering 'yes!' all the way here.
I should say that today has been quite a good day for me. Those of you who have been following my broadcasts could remember me mentioning taking an extremely extended detour and stumbling into a certain gang's territory a week ago. You may even recall that the detour was originally unintended. Well, I couldn't leave it just like that, and tried to make a more optimal route to my target location from my training area. And I'm quite happy to report that not only did I manage to take the right left turn in time, but also managed to track the necessary people down before they left, back them into their office and procure what I came there for. They were less happy to see me than I was them, but no casualties were involved.
However, where are my manners? I should not be telling you of my goings-on when there are much more important and interesting things afoot. Namely, both DDD and ACC have graced us with a broadcast. Well, to be fair, the former's broadcast was mainly directed at TCM, whose loyalties we are still unaware of, but as long as it was on a public frequency, it's fair game, am I right, boys and girls? So, 'it's almost time'. I think I don't need to speculate as to what exactly it is time for, as my guesses are only as good as yours, and while they may be in the right general vein, we'll only ever know for sure at the time of the official unveiling. Meanwhile, ACC declared himself to induce nervousness in sedatives. He's a humble one, isn't he? And to anyone still thinking that he may be a she - please. I've seen vain women frequently, including sometimes in a mirror, but the vainest woman in the world can't hold a candle to an average man. It's biologically impossible to out-vain a gender whose pride and joy, or at least a considerable part thereof, happens to be its very defining attribute. Kind of like a water molecule that goes around showing off its hydrogen atoms. Yes, we get it, you've got two. If you had one, you wouldn't BE a water molecule, so pipe down already.
Anyway, after this blessedly succint proof of the fact that while romance is dead, feminism definitely isn't, enjoy the subsequent two hours of music. We'll start off with a song that is ALL about vanity... or is it? You decide. And when I'm back, I want to talk to you about hotels.
transnoctem out.
