America himself is seated at a large table in an inexpensive family restaurant, waiting excitedly for the main course he ordered--but not without food, of course. No, he's got an appetizer of large, golden crispy greasy onion rings perched beautifully like deep-fried halos on a vast platter, garnished with lettuce.
He wastes no time in enjoying it with a generous helping of ketchup, leaving the lettuce ignored.
Interestingly enough, he isn't eating as quickly as he might normally; but still fast by normal standards, so maybe it won't make a bit of difference.
The smell of stake, fries and grilled sandwiches hangs deliciously in the air.
