1913 - Albert Camus
This French author and philosopher wrote the existentialist masterpiece "The Stranger" which was the inspiration for The Cure's "Staring at the sea".

Interesting video with his quotes:

1943 - Joni Mitchell
Joni Mitchell's voice is one of a kind, and instantly recognizable. She is also an incredible songwriter and penned "Both Sides Now", "Woodstock", "Big Yellow Taxi" and so many more songs. Her album "Blue" is so amazing. Later in her career she moved more towards Jazz. I'm not as crazy about that work but I admire her willingness to move into a new direction.

1956 - Judy Tenuta
"The Love Goddess" - she was the MC at the first IML I ever went to, it was hilarious.

1970 - Morgan Spurlock
This filmmaker came onto the scene with his documentary "Super Size Me". He currently has a show titled "30 Days" in which people with opposing views agree to spend 30 days living in the other's world. I really like his style, and his mustache :)
