Jesse JamesFamed wild west outlaw. He and his gang were responsible for a large string of robberies including banks, stagecoaches, and eventually trains. Many people think of Jesse James as a "Robin Hood" type of character but I'm not sure why.

Bob NewhartAs far as I'm concerned there is no other comedian as good at doing "straight man" comedy as Bob Newhart. I was a little young for the "Bob Newhart Show" but I loved "Newhart".

Werner HerzogGerman "New Wave" director. "Heart of Glass" is the only film of his that I've seen - it is very strange. I've read that all of the actors were hypnotized for the movie... that would explain alot.

Steve MillerGuitarist and singer/songwriter for the Steve Miller Band. They were hugely popular amongst the people I went to High School with in Jackson Mississippi (even though their last big hit "Abracadabra" was in 1982). So even though I graduated from school in 1991 I share the musical memory of "Rock'n Me", "The Joker", and "Jungle Love" with people who graduated in 1979. I guess that is a part of the "Post-Modern" experience.

Freddie MercuryI can't believe no one told me that Freddie Mercury was gay when I was a kid. Of course I sensed there was something "different" about him, but I thought that was just because he was a rock star - LOL! Without a doubt, he was the first man I ever saw in "S&M Leather" - which I didn't realize until years and years later.
