Hello everyone. I'd really appreciate some help with this. I wrote a poem in French class when I was in high school (over 13 years ago) and my teacher kept the corrected version of it. So all I have is the rough draft with all kinds of mistakes. I'd really appreciate some help. Here goes:

1). "Dans un café dans Paris assied un homme." Is "dans" ( Read more... )

Okay, others will have to help you further since I'm Dutch and know some French but not all, but perhaps a little help:

1) I think it is Dans un café a Paris, and I think sitting down in French is reflective so s'addied? un homme.

2/3) I think around him is autour de lui, I'm not sure what 'those' would be.

4) pas du tout is correct, but interesting is interessant I think: Il n'et pas du tout interessant. (Correct me on word order, pelase.)

5) I think you mean while in the sense of although (right), so you could say Et bien que leurs convesations changent, un homme reste... le même, I think - again, not sure.

Hope this helps a bit and hope others correct me :P

s'assied, obviously. not s'addied.

yeah I think the 4th one if you have "interesse" as the non-reflective verb you'd have something about the man not being interested at all, not about him not being interesting.

Thanks so much! It's been so long since I've studied the language that I really have such a vague idea of what it all means. I'm better with German.
