Recent Updates (within about the last month ending on October 10, 2007)...
Hmm lets see... I'm home, I'm bored, and I want a job... I think that pretty much says most of what's been going on.
Actually my life has been more exciting than I've just led on.
Last week I had an interview for an Associate Project Chemist Position for Underwriters Laboratories in Northbrook IL, though I've just found out that I didn't get this job but they'd like for me to interview for a Scientist IV Position in their South Bend IN location this Friday... Mom seemed way too excited about this situation, I'm disappointed but ok with the UL decision. I didn't have enough experience, Mom didn't want me moving to Chicago, the South Bend location I'd be living at home, and the pay difference between the two is likely to be substantial (probably about $6/hr difference).
I've been attending Dance Etc (free ballroom dance club at Valpo U). It's been alot of fun. I've also been spending a fair abount of time with Jon. So I've been in Valpo a fair amount- thankfully so, I don't know if I'd be able to survive at home...
This past weekend was Valpo's Homecoming Weekend... Jon and I went to the football game (we lost). We and several friends went to the Deconess Semi- Formal Sat night...
Oh I also had my graduation party (Sept 22), which was alot of fun. Stressful leading up to it, but fun. I had family come in first, then friends a little later- mostly so I wouldn't feel bad about not spending alot of time with my family once my friends came around.
I have pictures up of the Graduation Party, some from Dance Etc, some from the Semi-Formal, and a few other random ones during this time span...
