The other day I finally went back out into the wide world of social
contacts once more, and I saw this really intriguing indie film called
"Waking Life". It's all about a kid who, pretty much, goes around
talking to random people about certain philosophical concepts. You
really don't even get a sense of a story till nearly the end of the
film, and by then, if you aren't already fascinated by it, you've
probably stopped watching; but if you have managed to hang on
through-out the entire film, (or in my case hang on to every word
through-out) it turns out to be a thought provoking experience. Still
definitely an indie film. "You can only be held responsible, you can
only be found guilty, you can only be admired or respected, for things
you did of your own free will" Good stuff. I made a cheesecake today.
Still haven't tasted it yet though. I made a cherry mousse for the
topping, and with that the total chill time for it is five-some-odd
hours. Now it's 11:30 and one can never fully appreciate a cheesecake
eaten right before bed. I'm waiting till tomorrow for the unveiling.
Good dreams to all those out there...
