After forgetting about it every time I went to the bookstore during the past two years, I finally own a copy of America: The Book.

And after 10+ years of not buying it because I had it on dubbed cassette, I finally own a real copy of Neil Young & Crazy Horse's Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere. On cd, no less ( Read more... )

Indeed! Sometimes those things lure us out and make us think we need to buy things, but gettin stuff you WANTED, especially for a long time. Right on!@

I don't really get cramps so much as general abdominal malaise, often combined with...let's not get all TMI and just call them "digestive issues." I don't know if something like Midol would help unless it numbs my entire lower torso, which it probably doesn't.

Heat, however, does help. I don't own a heating pad but I usually lay there with my hands on my tummy and that warmth helps. Can't do that while typing though. ;)

Thanks! Pink Floyd is one of the best bands ever, aren't they? Wish You Were Here is my favorite album of theirs. It's too bad you didn't see my journal a couple years ago...I had an Atom Heart Mother layout. ;)
