Indeed, maybe it was. Mostly because it seems like a line that you'd pick from some cheesy love song (and as a Jane Austen, fairy-tale loving teenager I was very prone to listening to just these kind of songs *shot*).

Anyhow, I loved writing female Light - she'd be a very sexy kind of character, I think. Not in a "in yer face" kind of way sexy, but coquettish, playful, perhaps? IDK, I loved writing female Light because she'd be the same as canon Light and yet a bit different - because the expectations heaped on her would have been different.

I always saw Misa as devious and accommodating. I think most of fandom considers her a dumb twit or a whore? I think she's neither, really. She was smart enough to use the Death Note quite effective and always made it clear that, though she was pretty and could play with men's heads, not a slut.

But whatever. It seems that fan!brats will just always hate.

I need to your prompt then. Which I haven't forgotten about. I'm just ... uh, suffering from writer's block.

fff *shoots* If you aren't a sap, I don't know who else is. D: It's a cute line, something you don't see these days; probably because of individualism, don't hold me on that. Except in harlequins, but I don't read those so I wouldn't know. Really.

Oh, yes! Light wasn't really stunningly, brilliantly handsome like, say, an idol, but he's got enough charm to make up for it. There's something very subtle about the things that make people want to go near him? Your characterization of a female Light fits that sort of thought.

She was able to use the note without getting caught immediately! Though she isn't smart as, say, Light or L, she's still smart enough to be considered a person not as dumb as "popular" portrayals of her are.

no rush, man, I haven't even finished yours D:

Agh, I am a sap. So much it's embarrassing. But I doubt that surprises anyone. It was a poorly disguised secret anyway. LOLZ, it's a common phrase in German and you do see in harlequins. I'm sure you don't read them, darling. I'm deadly certain of that *snickers*

Oh, he's very charming. I think it's way he just knows how to play with people - he always say the right things? Oh, yes, I think female Light would have been equally charming.

Yes, you do have to give Misa credit for that. I think L and Light were ... um, unique in terms of intelligence. Inhumane intelligence, basically. I kinda like Misa's smartness more because it's something you find more commonly in real life, you know?

I've known a lot of people who are ditzy and chat about inane things, but are crazily competent when it's time to get serious. I see Misa like this (and um, Tamaki from Ouran 8D).

LOLZ. Take your time!

I'd be surprised if anyone was surprised to find out that you're a sap! It's a common phrase in German? Wonder what that says about, uh, yeah, okay then. I might just be reading the wrong books which is why I never encounter that line much.

I really don't read them though! Don't you make that sarcastic tone with me, young lady.

He seems to be an honest kid, you know? Like, even though he's smart and all, you'd never expect him to be incredibly ambitious?

I get the feeling that female Light would still be more popular with women than men. @_@

Yeah, gotcha. She seems to be the more common smart guy. Girl. Ugh, yeah. L and Light aren't that inhumanely intelligent; still probably within the realm of possibility.

(What's probably a bit hard to grasp is Light who is handsome, charming, and smart. L is a bit more... reasonable.)

Oh yes! Probably because they've done that specialization thing. (Ouran! Haven't heard that in a while now.)

♥ Thanks~

XD. I'm rather transparent like that. It is, yes. It does say that German are saps. They are, considering some of the "Heimatfilme" and Rosamunde Pilcher craze going on XD.

You will read them, one day. Sometimes they're oddly ... entertaining.

I think good!Light (or pre Death Note) Light was an honest kid with ambitions that were high, but not incredulously so; getting the Death Note corrupted him to the point that he became a liar and yes, you know.

I think female Light would have attracted women more, probably - men might have considered her "intimidating". Or too intelligent, really?

I think L himself would have been fascinated by her XD.

I think pre! Death Note Light was realistically intelligent. L is a convincing portrayal of a skilled detective.

So I should take that comment back XD.

LOL. Yes, that's right! (I just had to think of Tamaki. He's such a ditz and so silly at times, but deadly serious about a few things).

8D Something not quite expected, I think.

Will stop by the nearest convenience stores. They sometimes have them in stock.

... We should have more fic with a Light that never crossed paths with the note. This "what if" thing has been bouncing between the two of us for a while now.

Yeah, she'd probably given off vibes like those.

L is an oddball. He treads where no man wants to tread. D:

ffff

The funniest thing is that Bleach made me think of this specialization thing. 8D

You'd be surprised by the Germans, you would.

Oh don't. Lit like this should not be read too often. Makes you ... a bit prone to start writing cheesy lines, lol

Actually, I think we just totally co-write something like that. Since we've been bouncing off this idea so long now 8D.

OH yes. Probably a "don't dare to look at me, pervert or I'll kill you vibe" too? OR NOT. I don't really see Light in such a um, ... light XD

L ... D: He'd have probably walked right into his own ... funeral?

XD

LOLZ, Bleach. Kai tells me it has butterflies. XD I haven't read it in ages 8D

You wouldn't be off the mark there.

Oh man. I write enough cheesy lines as it is. Still, it'll be an interesting enough read. You should know, shouldn't you?

Ooooh. I'd suggest to GDocs it. We could always try Twittering the whole story. See how 140 characters each turn takes us. D:

FFFF, She'll probably give off "Please, I'm so better than scum like you, so much so that you're not even worthy to lick the soles of my shoes" vibes. Not very pretty.

I see what you did there. 8D

But he'd die a happy man! Also, he'd be smart and weird enough to keep Light on her (his even?!) toes.

Butterflies? Holy sh-- I thought that he turned into a fly. Not nice enough to be a butterfly, tbh.

No, probably not. I'm surprised myself every time.

Depends what. I only read one romance novel and that was recently. I liked it because, though predictable in terms of plot, it was quite well-written with lots of funny lines. And the smut was surprisingly tasteful with no weird euphemisms. But um, I'm not gonna make a habit out of it XD

Oh yes! Definitely. That would be great. And insane, but great too. Just no smut should be expected since we're notorious cock-blockers (!!!) ?

You know, that makes me think that Mikami would be the perfect companion for female! Light 8D You're fault. The licking of shoe soles made me immediately think of Mikami XD.

Yes, and your eyes can't unsee.

Yes, a very happy man XD. Oh, I think L is more than capable of keeping Light on his/hers toes. Canon is proof enough of that fact.

He did? A fly 8D I um, see.
