[ficlet] Only Human

Sep 19, 2010 05:55

Since no one was willing to torture me, I decided to write something that positively tortured me. Writing anything related to Guts/Casca and post- Eclipse tears me up D: I'm not expecting comments for this really because ._. I really just wanted to write something for Berserk.

Disclaimer: I don't own a thing.

Yeeeah, I never saw that torture me meme.

I absolutely do not know why, but this fic made my eyes water. It looks so, you know, simple, but then it's just... moving.

Also, "And, of course, he'd branded" feels like it's missing something. But pay no attention to this.

I'm not blaming you!

It's not like everyone is on Eljay 24 hours a day.

(Unless you are um, me).

I think there's a real difference when you write a fic with emotion or not?

I was tearing up myself.

But Guts is /branded/? I could replace it with "marked" - if you think that makes a difference? But I already used that word in another Berserk fic and I don't like repetitions ...

Ahahaha. Knowing myself, if I was on LJ everyday, I'd be bored with it and never ever come back.

(... I do not even know what you do with twenty-four hours here.)

Well, yeah. You'd probably get more readers experiencing the same thing you did when you wrote it. Man, it's like from touching hearts you go to prodding and squeezing them. If that makes any sense.

It's just that I thought, if you expanded it, it'd go "And, of course, he had branded" and it gives off the same feeling as "And of course, Guts had branded." After thinking about it for a bit, I thought that maybe what you were going for was "And of course, he had been branded"?

... But then, this is an entirely different thing if Guts was the one who branded himself. Also, I have not read a single chapter of Berserk so I wouldn't know. @_@

How come I'm never bored then? But, then again, I'm so amazingly amazing that nothing bores me *BOB*

(Actually, I mostly just spend time ... doing questionable things? LOL)

I find the imagery you mentioned here very interesting - "prodding and squeezing hearts" <333 But yes, you have a point!

LOL LOL LOL. My poor Boke-chan. ._.

Yes, I was going for that. He had been branded - and nothing else. I was just so tired that I didn't get your point at once 8D

EDIT: "How come I'm never BORN"? WTF, self. Stop replying to comments when YOUR brain is not present D:

*cries*

But then, you are amazingly amazing.

(Questionable things, you say? Most of what you do is questionable. D: Actually, this is also the part where I say that I have no appropriate comeback.)

When looked at from a certain angle, it's a bit macabre. Oho.

It's kind of a given, seeing as it was, Idk, six in the morning when we began talking.

LOLOLOLOLOL. This is not the life of a paid user.

So are you then. We are amazingly amazing together XD.

(Wait - that sounds like a cheap pick up line. WTF)

(Oh, probably. I never denied it. Appropriate comebacks are overrated).

It is. Which is why I love it 8D

Yeah. It was. And I hadn't slept all night 8D

That's because it is a cheap pick-up line. HAHAHA.

(... At least you're honest with yourself? I do like my appropriate comebacks though!)

Oh you.

Sleep some more. D:<
