There isn't much to say RL-wise because RL has been ... boring? XD (Which is NOT a bad thing in my books, btw.)

Fandom; character(c)/pairing; prompt.

...Um fandoms. Anything goes? No really, the only new additions I'd have are: Life on Mars, Cowboy Bebop and Baccano!. But please be warned: I'm not done with either Baccano or Life on Mars, and I'm not ( Read more... )

“You know, you’re pretty,” Neil whispered to Alex one morning, “but you’re not an Adonis. I’ve fucked prettier guys than you.”

He didn’t really know why he was saying this, truth to be told. In all honesty actually, Alex was more than good-looking in the afterglow of sex. With his hair tousled, his cheeks reddened from the strenuous activity of sex, and his eyes shining brighter than usual, he was actually gorgeous .

(And if not among the prettiest guys Neil had been with, then definitely among the top twenty --).

But Neil knew that one word of that, actually any adjective that spelled out how beautiful (fuckable, fantastic, amazing and lovely) Alex was would only heighten his ego, and Neil didn’t need any of that. Besides. Besides -

Alex huffed. “Then you clearly don’t have any taste.” He turned away from Neil, his ego clearly hurt. “Besides, you’re not all that good-looking yourself,” he added.

“You might say so, but others disagree,” Neil simply answered, and laughed. Not because he really did think he was that good-looking (he was a Sex God, damnit), but because Alex was just so easy to anger.

“Shut up, and get up. Do something useful - like preparing breakfast.”

But Neil didn’t, instead just moved closer, and pressed his nose against Alex’s back, smelling that smell that was uniquely him, and he smiled.

He mused on how the other reason why he’d never say how pretty Alex was because that would make things too real, too permanent, and Neil always needed a back-away option.

Before things started to sour.

(And they always did, in the end.)
