A rustle of fabric and a small 'oof' and warmth. Axel wouldn't know it, but by hugging him Kairi could feel the heart of his power radiating off of him like an overcharged light bulb or a flame. She hugged him out of desperation of wanting to touch, to be acknowledge by something remotely living. In the old style room in one of the towers in The World That Never Was, like a ping and echo in her heart, she could feel the heartless down below just underneath the veil of a cobble stone street, yellow glowing eyes, looking searching. Staring straight at her heart.
"You alright..?" For someone without a heart, he sounded awfully convincing.
"You said we didn't have time for 'Q & A' the last time I saw you," She didn't look up to him, she still clung to him and the warmth. "That was a day ago."
"I lost track of time-"
"I woke up and one of them was staring at me. One of those...silver ones, I want that Q & A." She looked up at him this time, though his face was impassive, his eyes told everything.
"How did a Dusk get up here? I would have known about-" She suddenly clung tighter to him, in his empty shell of a body, he could feel the light of her heart, quiver but brighten in fear for a moment. "What is it?" He looked around the room but stopped when he saw the Assassin in the corner. "Was that the one you saw?" He looked down at her and the red headed princess nodded against his chest.
He sighed and made a gesture and told her to look at the Nobody, she shyly looked at it, her arms still around him. He told her to watch and he summoned one of his chakrams and the nobody went from swimming in the floor to suddenly raising itself out of the ground and seemingly saluting Axel.
"Y-you control it?"
"Uh huh, we all have our own unique ones I guess." She let go. "I put one here to watch out for Saix; he's mad that I let you slip through his fingers. This is the last world, he'll think of looking. Do you still want that Q & A?"
