My 21st Actually Turned Out Better Than Expected
Click to viewEnded up spending the whole day with the parents, actually. Cause my friends were total flakes and/or away at other schools. Still, it was quite hilarious, did involve a beer (ew), a ginormous strawberry daquiri (yum) and three pina coladas (double yum).
Went shopping (Mom), got a couple sundresses :)
Went mini golfing and to a tour of the Budweiser brewery (Dad)
Went out to dinner all glammed up (Mom and Dad), where I got that awesomely huge daquiri. Edged into the territory of buzzed, barely.
Went home, opened up presents (couple dvds, peppermint bubblebath, peppermint Torani syrup, couple books, bottle of Rum, bottle of Pina Colada mix). Mom made Pina Coladas (yum), spread the wisdom of 'never let a man make pina coladas, they're absolutely useless at it' which Dad merely shrugged. Apparently he agreed with her belief that he would've done half rum, half mixer rather than a 1:3 ratio or whatever she does.
Had three pina coladas. Apparently I have a higher alcohol tolerance than I believed, because I was barely feeling anything. Even though I watched Mom pour in the Rum. Lol, damn those high school parties.
Overall it was rather awesome. Oh, did I mention Mom got me the night off? Even though I had neglected to even bother asking for the day off? It actually was rather win of her :)
