I wonder if any of the local groups have anything planned. It's a shame that the trans community in DC, such as it is, always seems so fractured. :/

I've been trying to get in contact with Earline Budd, as she has put on many TDOR's in the past. Earline is a tireless activist, working in some of the toughest areas in DC. She truly is a hero.

I don't think the DC trans community is fractured so much as disorganized into anything approaching something of coherance. There was a TDOR a few years ago held in front of Lincoln Memorial, that was the last one to the best of my knowledge. Whoever was supposed to organize it the next year didn't and it fell by the wayside. What TDOR needs is someone with a bit of time, self motivation and initiative to grab the proverbial ball and run with it.
