Hello my name is princess I am a transgender and 18 years old and i am living in a shelter call Carmen’s place.
I would like to tell you a story about how I got to Carmen’s  place. I use to live in foster home and they did not take got care of me at all I was jumping from foster home to foster home at that time in my life.
The foster home was in Brooklyn , NY . it was terrible I’m glad to be at  Carmen’s place because they treat me better. In different ways then I’m used to it’s like the shelter feels like a home I feel very safe there.
it feels likes home because its for transgender. But there are other shelters out there but you have to be a gay men or straight to in one.
But to get back to my story when I was 13 I ended up on the streets I start prostitution and I fell into depression because I was mad that my farther sexually abuse me and that he not accept the fact that I was transgender and kicked me out.
i start prostitution because if felt that I wasn’t loved but now I know that before you love some body you have to love self.
this is my story.                    Princess
