I am now developing in
Ruby and
Ruby on Rails. It is turning out to be very nice as Rails has built in ORM methodology to let you concentrate on programming your web flow instead of doing alot of database stuff. Our new location's renovation is coming along. The contractors have poured an entirely new parking lot and done some major destruction in the prelude to everything new. Don't know when it will be done yet though. Was scheduled to be mid november and may turn out to be a coooooold move.
I currently have my work desktop working in 99.9% linux mode. The only windows I've done recently is to see if my Ruby efforts would work there. They do, although it took a little effort back into C land to make Verisign's Payflow Pro interface to work. I suprised myself by actually producing something with a Microsoft product, although it was a collection of their freely downloadable tools so I still haven't installed any payware besides XP Pro itself.
