Updateyness...
Tiny things I wanted to update about quickly:
* I have met my gorgeous new little car! It's dark blue, almost purple and is very nice for the price I paid (and then some). It's comfortable and responsive to drive and is far nicer than I expected my first car to be. I'm still coming to terms with owning a car.
* I've had a couple of lessons in my car as well and they've been going well. I did a reverse park and executed it quite well on my first go, so I'm feeling pleased about that. I'm also trying to just spend time driving to remind myself that I already have some familiarity with this and confidence, really trying to remind myself and build on that so that I can take my test. Likely at this point to just be my automatic test given my car is an automatic. I'll upgrade later, and I'm confident that will happen when it needs to as Ral and Fox will keep me honest in this regard :P
* I got my marks back for the semester and got a High Distinction for 'Media Audiences and the Public' and a Distinction for 'Professional Communication' (I am sure my exam is what let me down here). Am pleased with both marks, but particularly the Media Audiences mark as it wasn't an easy unit.
Life is still very, very good at the moment and I am grateful for every single second.
