New phone :D
I have finally joined the ranks with my new android phone. I've been *aching* for this for months and months and okay, well... maybe 18 months or so :P
I got a Samsung Galaxy SII and I'm loving it so far. Learning curve is fun, if high after such an almost smart phone where I've hacked at it to make it work as smart as possible. Thus, things are in totally different places than I expected... am having a ball with it :D
I haven't yet ported my number across and I haven't worked out how to deal with contacts at all so people who remember what it was like to shift from not or almost smart phones to android I'm all ears for how you managed the contacts part of that process. I'm a little flumoxed by how to deal.
I'm also using up the credit on my other vodafone prepaid, this contract is with Virgin, so all of you lovely Virgin people out there, I can now call you for free!! *bounce bounce*
I'm planning on doing another post about apps and so on as a first impression and starting off and then probably later as a refined processof what I'm actually using and such.
I did hit up
meghanc's awesome post of suggestions already and they've been awesome to look at so far.
Other 'must have' app suggestions, I'm all ears (but make no promises).
This post mainly because I wanted to show off my new default icon as a MLP:FiM fangirl :D PINKIE POWER! :D
