Dear Flist, pop culture links?

I need some pop culture links to stuff that shows 'privilege' and someone speaking for others without having been asked - I was thinking something like the imposition of the NT Intervention or something where the individuals don't get to represent themselves. If the links include themes of motherhood or masculinity I'd appreciate it....

I've been doing some searching but my google fu is weak today.

Help? Trying to get this done so I can just *enjoy* the convention.
