So in the past two weeks ish, I've had 3 calls from 3 separate companies with positions I might be interested in.
Hays can go jump because they were -atrocious- here in WA - I've had 3 case manager people and all of them have failed the basic requirement of returning calls.
Gryphon were good, and they were just checking in as they had some stuff that might be of interest.
Bank West called re a project support role they have available and were contacting me about being that I'm on their database.
It's all very nice, but I am actually content for the most part in my current role - most attractive about it is the 37.5 hr week, boss supportive of my study. Essentially I would rather be studying full time and be a student, but I still need to make ends meet, and currently I'm the family's main income earner.
I would consider moving for an events role. Or an interesting role in a non profit organisation.
Mind you - I'm heading towards seeing a gap for an organisation. But not sure where/how to go about it. Will involve some useful conversations about actualities and some serious contacts but we shall see where and how it goes.
I wish these called had happened while I was job hunting, and not now 8 months later when I'm not.
