I'm back in Melbourne after 2 days in Wodonga. I have an awful lot to write about and post about, and I'm unsure how I'm going to find the time - but I'm sure I'll get there.
A big, and special thank you to all of you who responded to plaintive sms's etc as I spent much of it feeling very cut off and alone and overwhelmed/overwrought.
My beloved K was incredible and checked with me several times yesterday, and then I had a little cry on callistra by phone in the afternoon and she and family (including splanky) called me later on in the evening which helped so much in me getting through the day.
I'd have given anything to have kae_dash or e_dan or one of those I'm closest to with me yesterday...
What made it worse was no internets connection - so no means of reaching out and reconnecting with where you all are. I don't often miss the net for a couple of days, but I really noticed it being back in my home town.
Yeah, I have a lot to say.
Tonight though, Grimlok whom I'm staying with (strange_dave you met him last year at convergence...) picked me up from Box Hill station, provided me with a big hug, a shower and the internet. Then we had amazing Indian for dinner and I'm about to pimp the Middleman at him :) All is well.
Lots going on in the next two days too - it's boggling poor Grimlok atm, who works as a baker, and thus is a bit daunted by my determination to get stuff done :) I'm sure that the important bits will get done.
Seeing Wicked at 1pm tomorrow for example...
