I have had the loveliest day...
I went with Calli and Babalon to the airport to wish Babalon farewell and back to Brisbane - sad, but so wonderful to see her and spend some time! Must get to Brisbane this year, MUST!
Got home, checked interwebs, interwebs provided love.
Went back to bed at around 9am, slept in till 11:30 cuddled up to
kae_dash who by his own design ended up pinned between myself and the (very sooky) puppy.
We meandered out of the house to have lunch and shop at Maddington, and while we didn't do anything special so to speak... the entire afternoon was just delightful.
It was time deliciously well spent and I swear I fell in love with my fiance several times all over again, throughout the afternoon.
That it can be such an ordinary day, doing routine tasks and he can have this affect on me just amazes me. I love it. Also, obviously... I love him. I utterly realise why and how much I want to spend the rest of my life with him.
Also,
callistra I have a present for you and family - you may kill me in a month. (Theoretical statement - not an invitation! One should be clear about these things...)
I bought on DVD some old family movie classics that I adored as a child, namely "All Dogs Go to Heaven", "Milo & Otis" and a less old movie that I've yet to see, but K loves "Cats & Dogs".
I cooked dinner, and made spinach and ricotta tortellini with a chicken, pancetta, vodka and smokey tomato sauce - had a hint of chilli too, and I'm exceedingly pleased with it given the improvisation and several short cuts :)
The watchword of today is Joy
