Reminder: Slashcon Dinner - Wednesday 18th June 7:30pm
The time is almost upon us for the 2008 Slashcon! angstslashhope will be joining us from the Eastern States and helping us to celebrate in fine form.
To that end, and to give you all the chance to meet her before we head away for the weekend, I’m hosting a Slashcon dinner next week. This dinner will be an opportunity to fundraise for Slashcon - this was part of our agreement with WASFF for funding. Fundraising will be collected via a tin on the table for people to contribute to as they wish. Details for the dinner are below...

Cost - We’re taking a banquet option, for $35.50 per head (menu detail is below)
Who - All of you are welcome! Please feel free to bring partners or others along, it will be a casual and friendly fannish event.
Please RSVP, this is essential for me to organise the restaurant booking accordingly, please book your places with me by 11am Wednesday 18th June. I’ll be making my final booking around lunchtime and while I will have some extra spots for last minute people, it will be only one or two.
Menu Detail:
I selected banquet three, and then spoke to the restaurant and tweaked it slightly, the final result being:
Entree:
Chicken Tikka or Fish Tikka or Mixed Entree (Tandoori Chicken, Veg Pakora, Samosa)
Main:
Beef Korma
Pork Jalfrezi
Lamb Roganjosh
Butter Chicken
Mixed Vegetables
Palak Paneer (spinach and cheese)
Served with Rice, Naan and Roti
Dessert:
Gulab Jamun or Kulfi (mango or pistachio) or Ice Cream
Coffee/Tea
Please note that drinks will be tallied on a separate bill and that people will be responsible for paying for their drinks against this bill. The restaurant does not have a ‘pay as you go’ facility for drinks.
