The week in dot points...
* Christmas Eve day spent with girliejones and asimmum which was awesome, then caught up with wolflullaby and went to a party - it was nice, as I was feeling social.
* Christmas Day went up to have lunch with amarillion's family as per usual, quieter this year, and just lovely - great company and a highlight of the year, lounging in aircon too full to move, watching mythbusters...
* Boxing Day watched 'Enchanted' with angriest, lie_xin and nevryn and unexpectedly loved it and laughed the whole way through - everything i like about a 'happily ever after movie' and yet i also loved the light hearted parody - really really worth seeing :)
* Conversed with ariaflame in the car on the way up to Woodlands for the Boxing Day Gathering, which was nice - I'd been meaning to catch up. Boxing Day gathering was small and good company - childrens were very cute! I may have had cotton candy icecream before I had nandos for lunch :P
* Arrived back at the House of Books and Ducks in time to have a very welcome cold shower, then head off to the movies to see 'The Golden Compass' them and also meeting prk, amarillion and kae_dash. Movie was awesome - but very fast paced and I think in places they could have slowed it down a little and not jeoparised the length of the movie too much. I am utterly enthralled by the armoured bears, and Nicole Kidman was amazing in it :)
* Thursday I spent close to home, nothing really to say, hot enough that there were multiple cold showers.... submitted my job app to Prem and Cab *fingers crossed*
* Yesterday I had a lovely lunch with girliejones and I look forward to more time spent - just one of those things where you just enjoy yourself and getting to know someone better :) Later headed off to Friday Night gathering, and squeaked and burbled happily while watching the 'Doctor Who Christmas Special', decided that Resident Evil 3 had way too much of the zombie action to appreciate (maharetr is the only undead for me...) so I went to read my book :P
* Today.... well thus far I'm here. K is working and I have nothing planned. Feel free to suggest changes to this plan...
* Tomorrow, much the same as above. Again feel free to suggest changes :)
