Is it morning again already?
I'm at work again... long day yesterday, and back early again today.
Today I aim to finish at a reasonable time (which is slightly longer than I need to be here time wise, on the basis of getting things done).
Last night I made an awesome salad for K, and his friend (also) K, it was balsamic lamb with honey simmered sweet potato, on rocket with herbs and snow pea sprouts. And other healthy bits. It turned out splendidly, so I plan to make it for people at some point (by people I mean, those I plan to cook for, or the Friday night crew). I'll post the recipe at some point, but it was adapted from a balsamic lamb salad from www.taste.com.au.
Tonight more good company and Heroes - so looking forward to it, even though I will miss a couple of people who can't make it.
Plan on going to the art gallery tomorrow morning if I can manage it - and hopefully with K :) Although he's costume making atm for Masquerade ball.
Tomorrow night... I'm at a bit of a loss myself. I shall have to find out what's on and go from there :) Tomorrow afternoon, there's a going away if I can manage to get to Freo etc.
Sunday I'm going to girliejones house which I've also been looking forward to all week :)
Also, I'm not sure that the Lush order went through - it hasn't come out of my credit card yet, and I sent an email enquiry not yesterday but the afternoon of the day before and haven't heard back yet.
Next weekend the building inspector is coming around to inspect the house, give me a report that I can take to the Builder and say 'FIX MY HOUSE PROPERLY!' The inspector said it was extremely unlikely that they'd have to rebuild the house, but that the resin that they can put under the foundation to fix what is probably wrong with mine, is quite expensive (and apparently used in commercial buildings).
I'm looking for a scouting site that will give me the run down on various house insurance places, and also various medical insurance places... i want a place that does the hunting around and comparisons for me. I'm sure there is something out there, just not sure what.
