(no subject)
I meandered into work today.
Slept in for an extra hour, and read my book on the train listening to radio antics with a half smile.
I wandered past my usual coffee place, to say 'Hi' to Dave my barista, chatting and generally catching up.
I walked through the cool morning streets instead of cramming myself onto the CAT bus, and wandered into work smiling and relaxed.
The day has started off well. The marketing content people were in at 7am this morning doing content :P And were calling myself and two others from 10 to 8 this morning - one person isn't in today, the myself and the PM weren't in till 9am :P
Its a small thing to take pleasure in, but that these people are now understanding the sheer amount of patience and finicky effort goes into finalising and polishing these webpages, makes me exceedingly happy. They said in an email yesterday that they didn't think they had much left to do - with half their content still missing, etc :P I laughed out loud after getting off the phone, and this morning I think they appreciated just how much work has been going into this.
I've answered a half dozen calls between them 'no there's no easier way, you'll have to fix it all one by one' and 'can you adjust the document links formatting to be X please?' Aaah the small things :)
Speaking of small things, any one looking for a more intermediate/advanced admin job:
